My Code of Ethics

1. I am neither perfect nor infallible. I will not represent myself as either to my clients.

2. I do not predict the future. I use the Tarot as an opportunity to help provide my clients with insights and clarification of issues in their lives. I will also try to help empower them to take control of the situation and accept responsibility for their actions.

3. I will always conduct myself in a professional and ethical manner and conduct readings in an environment that is both comfortable and confidential.

4. I will never try to con clients out of additional money or readings. I will accept reasonable fees for my readings but I will not try to gain additional payments by suggesting this will help a client get rid of negative energy or that this is the only way to solve their issue.

5. I will respect my clients' privacy and confidentiality. Anything revealed to me during the reading stays between us.

6. I do not need to solve my clients' problems for them. I am there to empower them not to make them dependent upon me for answers.

7. I will not impose my beliefs (religious, political or otherwise) upon my clients. Nor will I denigrate or mock theirs.

8. I will use the reading as an opportunity to educate my client about the Tarot, and what is can and cannot do.

9. I will not judge or criticize my clients. I accept that everyone is free to make his or her own choices in life.

10. If a client feels that the reading was not worth the payment, I will refund the price of the reading to them.

11. I will actively listen to my clients input, concerns and questions and try to address these during the reading.

12. I will always try to improve my Tarot knowledge and seek to expand my horizons by participating in conferences, classes and active mailing lists as well as maintaining membership in professional organizations such as ATA and ITS.

13. I will follow the ATA Code of Ethics and standards.
